The Township Code Authority (TCA) of Midland County was organized on May 1, 1996 to provide services to the townships of Midland county. Each municipality that belongs has one representative.

The TCA provides plumbing, mechanical, electrical and building inspections to Midland county municipalities.

Before doing anything to your home including building, adding-on, demolishing, rewiring, redoing the plumbing, fixing the septic system or installing a wood burning stove, PLEASE CALL THE TOWNSHIP CODE AUTHORITY OFFICE FIRST.

Prior to beginning any work or contacting a specific inspector, a permit must be secured by contacting the Township Code Authority at 837-6521.
The Code Authority has it own applications, permits, and fees. The Code Authority will then contact the assigned inspector. The contact information for the inspectors currently assigned to Homer Township are listed in the Contact List on the township website.
