Voting Method #1 in person on Election Day
Polls are open 7:00 am – 8:00 pm@ Public Service Building at 222 S. Homer Road
Accessible Voting Equipment
Voter Assist Terminals are available to all voters. The terminal marks the voter’s selections on paper that becomes their ballot. The completed ballot is printed and the voter feeds their ballot into a tabulator, which scans and records the votes. There are tools to assist in hearing, visual, physical and others disabilities.
Voting Method #2 in Person at Early Voting
Early Voting Starts 11 days before election day (Saturday) Early Voting Ends 2 days before election day (Sunday)
For the above two elections any Homer Township voter can vote during the 9 day early voting at the Midland County Early Vote Center at: Grace A. Dow Memorial Library 1710 W. St. Andrews Road, Midland, Ml 48640
Early Vote Center Hours of Operation:
Monday-Tuesday 9 am -5 pm Wednesday-Thursday 11 am – 7 pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday 9 am – 5 pm
* NO registration to vote, is done at the Early Voting Site
Voting Method #3 Vote by Absentee Ballot
Any registered voter can vote by mail with an absentee ballot. Voters needing an Absentee Ballot
Application have the following options:
- Online at Mi.gov/Vote
- Request one from the Homer Township clerk’s office (989) 631-4399 ext.2 Please leave name and address
- Email request to: clerk@homertownship.org
- Military and Overseas Civilians should complete the Federal Post Card Application available at FVAP.gov
Voters who have completed an application for the Permanent Absentee Ballot List will receive their ballot automatically.
Help I made a mistake on my ballot: DO NOT THROW IT AWAY. Simply put the ballot into the provided purple envelope and seal it. Sign and date the outside of the envelope and bring it to the Homer Township Office. We will SPOIL your ballot and give you a new one. Please call Clerk’s Office at 989 631-4399 Ext.2 to ensure someone is there that can help you.
Not ‘Registered toVote in Homer’Township? If you would like to vote but are not registered, registering is a very simple procedure. You need to be at least 18 years old by the date of the next election, a citizen of the United States and a resident in Homer Township.
